Eric Brobst

Eric Brobst grew up with music of all kinds from rock to Latin music and from a very young age he knew he wanted to be involved with music in some capacity. Learning to play guitar and drums in middle school, he was in several bands but he felt this was not the direction in which he wanted to go. His love for music, especially dance music, drew him in another direction. His DJ career began while working in radio at 91.3 WLCH as a Spanish on-air personality and at FM97 WLAN where he spent 5 years as an on-air personality, promotions assistant and DJ for station events.

At a station event in Hershey park for a high school all-nighter event, he was suddenly asked to take the reins at the DJ booth while the DJ made announcements at another area of the park. (Meanwhile hundreds of high school kids were dancing like there was no tomorrow). Having never done this before, Eric immediately became nervous and thought quickly what song to play next, what followed was something that shook him to the core. He realized the power of a DJ over crowds in the mood to dance. When the other DJ returned, he saw Eric was doing such a good job, that he let him finish out the night. And as they say, the rest is history!

Eric decided to pursue this as a side project through college as DJ Er!c Enterta!nment. In 2009, he joined forces with Mike McHenry to start ProVolve Entertainment. Eric has nearly 7 years of DJ experience doing countless weddings, sweet sixteen parties, anniversaries, surprise birthday parties, high school reunions, school dances and many other parties throughout Lancaster County and the surrounding Central PA region.
